Maybe even since (blasphemy) Half-Life 2! Take em all out silently with the chained takedown, or roast them with the flamethrower, or set up a mine and throw a rock so they walk over it. Snipe from afar, impale them with arrows, use a predator (tiger) to help you out! The story is as cheesy as it gets I'll admit, but not the worst as games go. The main bad guy is at least interesting. It's an open world shooter, reminding me more of fallout, but unlike fallout the gunplay is very smooth without the assistance of something like VATS. The story and side quests suck compared to fallout, but the action and exploring the island/taking outposts is so fun I don't think you'll be doing anything, but playing this game a couple of hours into it. Unless your a PC snobbington, which appear to be more and more prevalent these days. While the story of Jason Brody is a bit convoluted and unbelievable, this can be ignored as the story is merely a catalyst to discover the incredible environment of Rook islands, to interact with the fantastically presented characters and to enjoy the ludicrously good gunplay.

Game 3 running 6.3-7 (in the case of Far Cry Primal now has sound and subtitles in game and no red tinge ) - caveat 1) did have to copy and paste u-play from far cry 3 into far cry primal to get past faulty u-play / u-connect built into far cry primal.
Game 2 running eggroll 5.6 (because of some fancy scripting it just works better ) My reasoning behind this (faulty / or misplaced as it might be, i dont know) is that if i have a valid working game on a lower tier proton do i really want to potentially get screwed up downloading another game on a later version. I right click on the individual game " properties > compatibility > Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool " and then let the shaders thing do what ever it is they do. Instead of going to steam " global settings steam play " and ticking the second box "Enable Steam Play for all other titles ". After you first install steam and you have all those greyed out install buttons.
